Smart CCT Bulb

Step 1: Install the Bulb

1. Turn Off the Power: Before installing the Smart CCT bulb, ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off.
2. Screw in the Bulb: Insert the HomeMate Smart CCT bulb into the socket of your light fixture.
3. Turn On the Power: Once the bulb is securely in place, turn the power back on.

Step 2: Download the HomeMate Smart App

1. Download the App: Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for the “HomeMate Smart” app. Download and install the app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Create an Account: If you are a new user, you will need to create an account. Open the app, click on “Sign Up,” and follow the instructions to set up your account. If you already have an account, simply log in.

Step 3: Connect the Bulb to Your Wi-Fi Network

1. Reset the Bulb: Turn the Smart CCT bulb on and off three times to enter pairing mode. The bulb will start blinking rapidly, indicating it is ready to connect.
2. Open the App: Launch the HomeMate Smart app and log in to your account if prompted.
3. Add Device: Tap the “+” icon or the “Add Device” button in the app.
4. Select the Bulb: From the list of available devices, select the type of smart bulb you are connecting.
5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the bulb to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the bulb to use. Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.
6. Complete Setup: Wait for the app to complete the connection process. Once the bulb is connected, it will stop blinking, and you will see a confirmation message in the app.

Step 4: Control the Bulb

1. Name Your Bulb: You can give your bulb a unique name to easily identify it, especially if you have multiple smart devices.
2. Explore Features: Use the HomeMate Smart app to explore various features such as turning the bulb on and off, adjusting brightness, changing colors (if applicable), and setting schedules.
3. Voice Control: If you use a smart assistant like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, you can link your HomeMate account to control the bulb with voice commands. Refer to the specific instructions for integrating with your preferred voice assistant.

Tips for Troubleshooting

• Ensure Strong Wi-Fi Signal: Make sure the Smart CCT bulb is within range of your Wi-Fi router for a stable connection.
• Reset the Bulb: If the connection process fails, try resetting the bulb by turning it on and off three times and repeating the setup steps.
• Update the App: Ensure you are using the latest version of the HomeMate Smart app for optimal performance and compatibility.
